Will be edited soon as this is outdated as of 6.1

For non warlocks:

Dont save cooldowns and all that to aoe shit down that are low on prio jsut to get that extra dps on the meters will only ruin you dps on the targets that matters and will make the fight harder for those who actually have to single target focus let adds on beastlord and Operator die by normal cleave abilites. Like bladestorm, starfall, bladeflurry dk dots and tanks with some help from the others to but dont go full aoe retards!

Hi wanna come here and just break out some info about what most warlocks on forums and what most testing says atm

There are the specs and talents used in BrF as of 6.0

Gruul - Demonolgy, Demonbolt.
Oregorger - Demonolgy, Demonbolt
Beastlord - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (Adds or a non issue no reason for Cata)
Flamebender - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (Demonbolt cycle for dogs)
Hans and Franz - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (Edging the belts allows you to turret)
Operator Thogar - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (Adds are a non issue, burst for Man-At-Arms)
Blast Furnace - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (Adds are a non issue Demonbolt for the Primal Elementalists)
Kromog - Demonolgy, Cataclysm/Demonbolt (Only fight I could justify using Cata, Cata plus 2X Chaos wave is basically instant breakout, Demonbolt still viable)
Iron Maidens - Demonolgy, Demonbolt (HoG cleave is more than enough fury for as many Demonbolt cycles as you want with or without DS) Cataclysm might pull ahead with 4 set here. but logs show a 50% uptime on HoG on this fight which is insane.
Blackhand - Demonolgy, Demonbolt

With this in mind there is testing with cataclysm on ironmaidens as you have reliably atleast 2 prio targets to hit but I think the single target burst from Demonbolt on cannons is a lot more valueable than aoe dmg.

This also shows that there is no use to have cataclysm to dps whore on fights like operator and beastlord as most of the damage there is single target and are disquised as add fight. If you have any disagreements on this feel free to reply about why but we are not the best aoe class anymore and we should focus on our strengths not to try and fix our faults. Demo is currently the strongest spec in decent hands and will outpreform any of the other specs unless there is a lot of cheeseing and not actually doing what you are supposed to do.

This list isnt my doing as much as people on warlock forums list

Dont wanna see another cataclysm on any boss until you get 4 set were it might outpreform the Demonbolt on Iron Maidens.

As for destro and affli. Affli are pretty crap since the buff to demo as demo get the same benefit but more dmg than affli on the fights were that outshined the others as for destro there are a few cleave fights but cataclysm is a shitty talent for destro as their strength isnt sustained multitarget its sustained aoe and aoeing for padding makes most of your dps useless. And as it stands the only viable option as far as I know is terrorgaurd pre 6.1 and using cata top get high dps on adds are still not good for the raid.

So basicly play the spec you like the most but actually think of the tacts and what each specs excels at and judge from that but dont try and use cataclysm to top meters cause you will most likely gimp your raid. We got more than enough cleave from elders, noobz derp norriz and tanks to justify us focusing on our weakspots

For tonights raid the 11/2 I dont wanna see cataclysm used except on Kromog if we lack the ability to get out of the hands. If we whipe cause of adds I will ask one warlock to go with cataclysm but it shouldnt be the problem cause we will do more dmg to the boss and in that way the boss will have less adds.
You will be benched and asked to read this thread until the boss is dead.
