Sounds like a plan. Or at least worth a shot. I joined a pug this afternoon and time after time we wiped around 10%. The ppl in there clearly knew the drill, had an average ilvl of 655. We used 16 ppl and 4 healers. Couldn't get him down. Was a pain the the ass.

We need to bring a priest next time with barrier. Just nuke the shit out of adds when we killed the mages, while we hide under barrier. (we didn't have one in pug, but didn't struggle with them either...)
In last phase, ppl just spread a bit. Ignore the Nova, just don't move to risk running into each other.

You should kill all small adds at the same time during the transition. Kill both mages during first transion, without touching any small add, then stack up up, use raid cooldowns and aoe them all down at once. In the last transition kill reaver and the first mage, stack up and kill all adds with the fixated person staying out with some cooldown on him, then finish the last mage. This made the transition so easy for us since there is no raid damage at all in the transition this way, only 2fixated people and a tank taking damage. Made the fight significantly easier for us mana wise, I regen mana in the transition phases now instead of spending I like mad on aoe healing. We killed it with 30 players and 7 healers and with 15 players and 4 healers.

Another interesting thing is. The more ppl you bring, the easier it will get. Maybe we should go with 20 next time. 5 healers. It seems to scale a bit weird if you bring less ppl
