As I brought out in my application to join the guild (read if interested), I was very interested in finding out more of the pvp-tendencies of Solitude guildies. I didn't find any active threads of the subject so I started this one.

How is the overall situation? Do we have arena-enthusiasts or people who enjoy battlegrounds? Casual Ashran deathballers?

I myself would be very keen in putting up a RBG-group. The whole point would be assembling a group of people interested in trying out some competetive gaming but without the need to provide that 1,8k+ rating exp (YET! ;) ) A good and motivated group of guildies with the capability of voicecoms would be optimal, so that is why I start here.

I know that a few friends are willing to join (Sheeperino, feral druid who joined the guild a week ago) and Fransmanni (Julien, an old Gibcontrol-member, shaman) but would like to hear if anyone else would be interested?

This thread is open for any arena- bg-, rbg-, ashran or wpvp-related info.

I'm up for RBG on my hunter, since my warrior doesn't have any PvP gear... I dont have alot of time since I also raid on my warrior, so I dont know if I can join you guys when you get a group together. But I'm definitely interested in doing something like this.

So as soon as we would have bout 5+ members, we'll be hitting some normal bg's to test our "premade" and get some feels off this whole project. Lack of gear is a problem we can overcome as good pve-gear is somewhat sufficient. Also deathballing Ashran is very quick with little luck to get starting lvl gear for new chars/speccs.

Current comp is a mess, but it is just natural as the project has just begun:

The priest Sweettooth in our guild is a PvP orientated player. He is a very strong healer in arenas. He even had the best rating 2v2 on kazzak this or previous season.

I'm sure he would be interested in RBG. whisp him once he is online.

Current roster is in desperate need of at least one DK (great for pulling/targetting) and other melee dps. I also heard that boomkins are currently very good. Also need healers.

I'd like to point out as well, that my personal experience of competetive PvP in wow is not that broad and my up-to-date-knowledge of the meta is questionable, so future tactics/leadership and such are up for debate. Currently I consider myself more of a "project-manager" of the PvP-department-project, but we'll see how it works out in the future.

Is this only for already existing members or new ones can possible join? Some random people that I've played with asked if they coin join strictly for the social / pvp environment soooo, what should I tell em ?

Anyone interested is welcome. As for myself, I have been a member of solitude for only a couple of weeks. The reason I tend to talk a lot about wanting to have members from our guild is just because guildies are a little more reliable and usually more forgiving than random pugs. Of course somebody's friends are not that random any more. I just want a clever, civil and motivated group.

Secondly I'm not quite sure of the guilds TS-policy, but I would assume its most likely guild-only. I got a personal server, which we can use if ever needed, but dont really think this will be an issue.

Please copypaste yourself into the roster with relevant information. The roster is NOT limited to 10, just add more numbers if needed. As you can see I have listed all who have expressed any interest to join, even the toons are not RBG-ready yet. Once we got enough people to do anything organised, I'll start thinking of a date for some action. Most likely it will be a thursday (unless everyone are on some alt-raid) or tuesday
