when i log in, im getting a message saying patch required, press restart to install patch. i press restart and am put back into the login page saying failed to install patch. any of you clever geeks got any ideas?

Run wow from the Launcher not wow.exe

Open the folder WoW is installed in and run the exe called something like "wow launcher.exe" or "battle net launchers.exe"

Go to your WoW folder, you will see wow.exe - wow-64.exe and Launcher.exe

*edit* beaten like a ginger step child :(

probably where my problem lies then, dont have launcher.exe in there

Try running the repair tool, I belive that downloads any files you are missing.
