Very far behind on gear. Will need to dö HC before we can take him into mythic

To be harsh, why are we even discussing people with gear/experience this low? I suggest for anyone below 670 (or maybe higher?) that we say "Thanks but your gear isn't good enough, but you could join as a social while you gear up" or words to that effect.

For someone to have gear this low, to me it shows they haven't bothered trying at all. My alt is 690 now and all I've done is pug raids. got no time for laziness! :)

Imo lack of gear isn't the greatest factor in why he should be declined but rather experience. Gear is a very easy thing to acquire, however performence is probably something you need much longer to work on. In addition, personality is also a more important factor than gear in my opinion.

I also vote for decline.

We can write something like this:

Hello,

We have decided to decline you because we require a higher standard than we think you can provide. You have been long out the game and your latest experience was from WolTK. The game has changed a lot since then, so we would advice you to run up the progression path a bit more steadily rather than applying for a mythic raiding guild.

Agree with decline, but dont see a reason why not add as social/member if he wants to do alt raids, apply again if geared/ready.

Agreeing with above, will decline him now and also add that he may still join guild as a social/member until he suitable for mythic raids.
