Amazing PVP gear (fully enchanted, gemmed, reforged etc.), but I don't think he has done any Cataclysm raiding at all, he hasn't even killed Lich King...

He's in Icon already btw, he joined as Harder's PvP social the other day

He was basically nudged to make a social app (so could have access to forum) and then we found out he would like to try raider if we had a spot.

Edit: will accept so he has access to forum (as he is in as social anyhow), then will re-open again whilst we discuss

Had a chat with him lastnight after raid, seems a really nice guy...and he spent the night lastnight getting PvE resto gear and stuff... which he will continue to do.

This guy is going to be our new "Healer Gamble".

Will probably try him out tonight if we do BoT/BWD

Edit: Anyhow, happy to trial him once he keeps working on his gear a bit more.

I asked Eosét to check on his spec, glyphs etc etc this morning.
He do need to make some adjustments to his spec, some glyphs where wrong etc. Something to keep an eye on and maybe ask Eos to have a chat with him about.

yup, he probably has a few grey areas that need adjusting, he was kinda thrown in at the deep end lastnight as it was only the end of the night before when I told him that we would drag him to the raid, so he kinda wasnt ready for it really (plus he ran out of money lastnight reforging/enchanting/etc hehe)

but he definitely stood out as a much better gamble than the other 2 we have been trying recently

Glad he did well, but agree that we need to see him in Firelands. Looks like you did HC Halfus though which is pretty intensive on the healers, so that's a good sign. Did you get logs?

He is missing loads of enchants, suggest we give mats from guild bank to help him along.

Without knowing much about druids, I think his spec is reasonable, perhaps needs a slight change, but his major glyphs are definitely wrong, surely he needs Glyph of Wild Growth and Glyph of Rebirth?

Edit: Tooltip not working very well for glyph of rebirth, it also restores that person to 100% HP.

1 of them Glyphs is a minor aint it? anyhow, I'm a rogg so i know nothin' about it hehe

as for enchants, he seems to be missing the shoulder/leg ones...which he needs to grab himself i guess (shoulders he got lastnight) and chest which we lacked mats.

Was helping him sort out enchants lastnight, we kinda ran out of some of the mats needed for a few enchants, and he ran out of money buying the mats the bank had ran out of hehe

Just so you know, the 2 dragons fight he had no explanation, was kinda a premature pull before he knew anything about the fight at all

oh... and you gonna hate that void got ranked on council hog hehe (only cuz i made him play a spec that rogues dont play on that fight though so dont cry hehe)

I can do his leg enchant for free, it's only an epic crystal.

And for logs, I suspect Voidy got ranked because only 7 people have ever raided in sub spec!

Anyway, he did more healing than Don on all fights......... now that shows how bad Don is.

On the topic of Don... He had to leave raid early yesterday again, and he haven't performed well in any of the raids he's been in. Could keep him as social I guess, but see no realistic chance of him ever taking a raider spot.

Yup agree about Don, maybe with 4.3 he can have chance to join on the pug raid thingy to prove us wrong, but dont see much point in using him as it is

Think we can make him a raider this week

He needs a nudge about signing up prior to the raid day, but apart from that he seems to do well considering he is still quite new to a lot of the bosses.
