- Gear repairs
- Flasks
- Potions
- Back-up high level stat food
- Feasts
- Enchants
- Materials for crafting
This one is set apart because it's something I have been doing every year for the past 5 years now, which is the GUILD EVENT! The guild event is hosted annually on Year's End. During the guild event, all players of the guild are invited to participate in lots of random events with which we can enjoy our evening. These are all competitive events so there are lots of prices to win. To name a few of the many awards of recent years:
- Tabard of the Lightbringer
- €20,- credit in WoWStore
- 1 Month Gametime subscription
- Gold and extremely rare mounts
The problem is however that we are low on guild, unlike any other year where we were always near the goldcap, which was because we were boosting (and I had a lot of time back then). Now we are at a merely 127K gold as I'm writing this post.
Not to mention that we have 2 players (Sazia & Thynite) full time working on the guild bank to ensure it stays fresh and loaded.
The suggestion and discussion point of this thread is: How do we have a positive net income for the guildbank while still providing all of the things I mentioned at the top of this post?
The main suggestion right now is to disable repairs for 1 month and have a fixed rule where all of the BoE's dropping in any guildraid to go to the guildbank. Naturally, the guildbank will still provide Flasks and Potions.
Please discuss. We will use the outcome of this post to discuss it further between the officers and provide a final solution to this problem by Wednesday, 12th of August 2015.
