So, i have a ticket open (About Hog) for about 25 hours. And the reply i got was.

You are receiving this message in response to the help petition which you submitted.

Please keep in mind that a character will get an ID for a specific instance when attempting or killing a boss on heroic mode. He or she will not be able to join another raid for the rest of the week even if they have killed the same number of bosses.

It's not possible for us to remove the raid lock for one person after this person has voluntary gone to a heroic PuG. I'm sorry you feel that the system is 'stupid' but that's the way it has worked for many months and we cannot make exceptions.

So I did a nice response to that ticket outlining the following...
(1) that I felt disgusted by the "Too bad, bye!" feel to the response
(2) that the only reason "this person has voluntary gone to a heroic PuG" was due to a lack of any kind of warning or information that such a system was in place for HC only, when people are lead to believe otherwise with a different system being used for Normals
(3) that nobody I spoke to was aware this HC system was in place, so therefore there is a major lack of information in game
(4) that the stupid-ness of the "Stupid system" that I refereed to in my original angry post, lies within implementing 2 different systems within the same instance without any kind of warning or information.
(5) ...basically, its THEIR FAULT he is saved to another raid ID :)
