Sorry for not speaking up sooner but new guild, new protocols i still dont know yet. Just a few days ago my boss gave me more working hours as one of the regulars at work quit. This means i will be having day/evening/night shifts throughout the summer which wasnt planned. This makes it hard for me to know when i will be able to raid which is a bit awkward since i just joined you guys as a trial. I understand if this makes me a bad candidate and if you wanna look for new blood but that is how it is.

So you should probably downvote me to social or kick me from the guild however you see fit, no hard feelings. Just want to point out again that this was unexpected and I didnt plan on this to happen but this means I get more pay and makes my free time a bit better.

I think it goes without saying that declining raids, especially when you have such an event happen is not the right way to handle it, even if you do not know the protocols. We are very unhappy about that.
Furthermore, if you don't know the protocols, it should also be a given to look into it rather than waiting for it to be told to you. It will most certainly always leave a bad impression, which you did.

I greatly congratulate that you will get more pay, it's something most people can use . As of now, we haven't (close though) come to a decision. If there is more, you will hear it from us in private.

Well i cant really accept the raids when Im working those hours can I? Dont know how you would have wanted me to do it otherwise when it comes to raid-signups. As for not looking up the protocols its completely my fault but I dont think that me declining the raids that I couldnt make it to is a bad way for handling it.

Perhaps I should rephrase because you didn't understand what I wanted to say.
I'll say it in a scenario type then;

What I meant to say was that if something happens which unables me to raid for in the long term, I will definitely address it to my role officer. What you did at the moment was just decline raids (even 3 hours before the raid yesterday), and make us wonder why you did it twice in a row.

That is why I said it was not the right way to handle it. It's a matter of communication.
I figured you declined Sundays raid after you heard the news, so I guess there was enough time for you to talk to Twim aswell.
