Dear all,

As we (me and Rosellia) have discussed with several people before, we would like to organize a Guilmeeting in the Netherlands in 2011.
The dates we've picked are: the weekend of 30 april/1 may. This for several reasons:
1. During this time, the chances of good weather in the Netherlands are OK. And i didn't want to book during regular holiday season, as people have their own plans at that time.
2. It's Queens Day at the 30th! That means big party in the Netherlands. :D

I've taken friday off from work, so people can arrive early if they want or are forced by transport companies. Everyone is welcome from thursday evening until sunday. But i realise some people can only arrive on saturday-morning, just expanding possibilities.

Every Icon is invited and of course everyone who attended a previous GM will also be welcome as well.

For those who want a good hotel near the city centre of Breda, i would advise the Apollo Hotel: http://www.apollohotelsresorts.com/breda (i always advise this to our business partners who visit us, they are happy with it)
For people on a low budget: i've got a spare bedroom where you can crash for free, you can even drink my beers and eat breakfast. (cannot promise bacon & eggs though)

So yes, the meeting is taking place in Breda (we have coffeeshops here too ;p) and not Amsterdam, but for those who would like to see Amsterdam we can off course arrange that. (we have a small country, everywhere is close)

We can arrange a pickup at any airport, but the trains are also quite good in the Netherlands (as long as it doesn't snow)
My advise: Eindhoven Airport! (Schiphol is too expensive, and EasyJet flies Eindhoven)

I would really like as much people attending as possible, so if you need any help with anything, do not hesitate to contact us! We're trying to keep prices down, so people on a low budget can also attend.

I (Eva) promise I´ll mak any breakfast you please :D. Even the horrible English ones. ;)

Thanks for the invite! I'm coming this time for sure and I'd love to spend 1 day in Amsterdam as well. I don`t care where I stay. In Breda I'm probably following Ara`s advice and cheking into the hotel, but I`ll be over for breakfast Eva, I'll bring the beer and spacecakes :O

In Amsterdam, I once stayed on a canalboat smack in the middle of the redlight, a sort of hostel where you got a bunkbed and was handed your own key. It cost close to nothing and even tho it was kinda bohemish I wouldn`t mind doing it again.

We need the t-shirt link again Hog, can`t find it atm.


I urge all icons to set off time to come this time, this will be awesome!
