Lots of chat about TV shows on TeamSpeak lately, mostly about Game of Thrones of course. Thought I'd start a thread here too.

Best TV show ever? For me it's The Wire, but I'm starting GoT now so will be able to compare soon!

Game of Thrones: Watching
The Wire: Amazing!
Dexter: Awesome!
Monty Python: Epic!
Oz: Forgot about this, awesome!
Fawlty Towers: Don't mention the war!

So many good things on that list!

Definitely interested in watching Dexter, seen some bits of it and like what I saw, will add the Wire to my list of things to check out... never heard of Oz I dont think.

I'll add a few I have been watching, or watched some of and gave up hehe

Game of Thrones - Seen S1-S3.... So far so good, found S3 a bit disappointing, as apart from a few moments not a great deal seemed to happen really.

Hannibal - Watching.... quite gruesome :) Really enjoyed it so far (only few episodes to go til end of S1 )

Bates Motel - Seen S1... This was an odd series, started off feeling a bit like Psycho mixed with 90210, got into it quite a bit after half way through the series.

Walking Dead - Seen S1-S3... Overall worth watching, has its ups and downs and kinda "silly moments".

Defiance - Seen a couple, not sure I can get into this really though... cast seem a bit "cheap" and has a bit of a Battlestar Galactica feel to it, which although was watchable, it wasnt really my thing I guess.

Sons of Anarchy - Seen half of S1 then gave up ;P - Although a lot of people have been recommending this, I found it started like it could have promise and then turned into nothing after the 1st episode.

Justified - Saw most of S1, but didnt really grip me.

Saw another film of his the other day, The Hunt, quite a dark drama that due to the subject matter that the film is about would not be something everyone could watch, but Mads is great in it. He definately up there with my favourite actors. Still think he was so brilliant as "Sweaty" Svend in Green Butchers :)

I'm up to S1E7 of Game of Thrones and I'm definitely hooked, will finish it off before I start on the next season of Parks and Recreation I think.

It was only on TV once or twice in the UK and that was many years ago. For some reason ITV had the rights and decided to show it in the 1:30am slot so we never really got a good following here. I was lucky to catch it when I was slacking off for a couple of months. It was a really gritty prison drama, tonnes of storyline and plots and some awesome characters.

People also keep telling me to watch Homeland. At this rate, I'm gonna be stuck in front of my TV till WoW expansion 15 is released!

I have yet to see "the hunt" or "jagten" as it's called over here, but it's gotten amazing reviews... And he's usually good in those roles... It's a shame they didn't do one of his earlier shows "blinkende lygter" in English, thhat One is hillarious.

But green butchers is fun aswell... Nikolai Lie Kaas and The chubby dude, whos name i forgot are awesome!

Game of Thrones: Enjoying this series a lot. This is the first time I have watched a series after reading books and not ended up dissapointed, completely epic and I do believe that pre reading the books is making me enjoy it even more then if I had not.
The Wire: Never heard of it :D
Dexter: I have caught the odd episode of this program but the idea of watching a serial killer murder people, even if they are evil bad people who deserve it, freaks me out.
Monty Python: Epic!
Oz: Never seen.
Fawlty Towers: lol oldie but goldie.

As TV series goes I would recommend:

Big Bang Theory.
Justified & Deadwood - Both have Timothy Olyphant in it, you might know him from the film I am Number 4.
Chuck - If you have never seen Chuck, seriously, watch it, it is the type of thing my dad would hate, but I swear I laughed and enjoyed this series so much.
The Finder with Michael Clarke Duncan, a nice relaxing fun series.

Babylon 5 season 1, with the shadows, never watched it after, but I heard later seasons were a let down.
StarGate SG1 (Yeah every one has seen this I think).
Firefly, likely one of my favorite sci fi series, they never finished season 1 as it was not a hit until after they stopped it, they did make a movie though using original cast, the main actor Nathan Fillion now does a series called Castle, it is okay.
Avatar - I loved this cartoon, I have them all lol plus the latest series which is the next avatar.

Game Of Throne : Pretty good series :)
Big Bang Theory : Pretty Funny :)
Grimm : Nice concept, not bad :)
IT Crowds : Pretty funny :)
Defiance : Not bad, quite watchable
Battlestar Galactica : I loved It :)
True Blood : I hope someone drowned Sooky
Vampires Dirrhea : lol :P tho i's a lie, not so bad
Fringe : Quite good in english, shit in french
Lie to Me : Not bad at all :)
Bates Motel : Not bad at all :)
Arrow : Start pretty well, becomes boring pretty fast
Dexter : S1-S3 quite good but bored by the end of S3. never saw s4
Stargate Universe : Really really a good series tho it stopped before S3
Walking Dead : Good serie gloabally
Lost : Awesome :)
Revolution : Tad boring
Heroes : quite good
Merlin : Good at the beginning, started to be boring from mid S2
The twilight zone : prolly on of the best serie ever.
Hannibal : Not bad at all :)
Once upon a time : i damned love that girl :P

I have watched Season 1 of Grimm so far and I am really enjoying it, I have to get hold of season 2. I have never watched SG Universe, I plan to watch Atlantis first but again I just never really got around to it.

Really great to see some names and opinions, I think I will work on Grimm Season 2 next and Stargate Atlantis.

Grimm is soo good. the story is well made the characters are really likeable, and u feel the story goes somewhere, in a good way.

Watch Under the dome, new series there are only 2 episodes out, it looks very interesting and the effects are well made too
