Active would account for buffs etc that becomes 'active' during combat such as trinkets or procs, things that you really need to keep and eye on after you have activated them.
Passive is something I myself use as Divine Protection, Guardian or other externals. Pretty much all high CD skills that you just want that tardy eye to know when and if they are up/off CD.
Please post it all in a 'Link' format so we wont use one page for each class, and if possible also post a printscreen when you have the Auras marked for show. Which should also be posted as 'Spoiler' but sadly this forum won't allow that, so just keep pics to a minumum.

Retribution Paladin Active Also a fyi, you will see none of these Auras, unless they are 'Active' so it will only mess up your screen if you proc ever single thing at once. And even then it's playable without an issue :=) (This string also includes Empowered Seals for Protection, and Blackhand Prot trinket proc.. Unless you ever enter Protection spec, these will never be active).

Externals Active Pretty much most of the Externals you can ask for, although this set also shows defensives for Paladin/Monk. Trinket procs are here aswell (although you need to edit these on your own).
