Easyrares - Rogue : i do not espacially agree to take another rogue. I'd rather wait Gringo and keep his spot.

There would be no meaning to have 2 rogues raiders in 3 month espacially when one of those two is one of the best european one.

Moreover, we'll implicitly compare him to gringo all the time and despite the fact he's prolly a good player, he'll have some sort of bad image and certainly not the same dps. No need to remind SoO is mostly shit for melee.

Last point, if he ever see a wol of gringo, he'll feel quite uncomfortable in raid and have to absorb extra pressure.

The facts:
* 539 ilvl on this char.
* Has done 10/14 SoO on his main (same as us) and 2/14 on this char.
* Has legendary cloak.
* Looks to be gemmed and enchanted correctly (Gringo can confirm this?)
* Don't have logs for him but the screenie shows he is doing nice (perhaps burst) damage.
* It's a really nice app.
* Has an alt DK tank on Kazzak which may come in handy!

I'm not sure where we will find someone with similar progress as us and legendary cloak. I'm tempted to give him a try.

We will always compare new people to current raiders. If we got a new spriest, you would compare to me, heal priest is Suker etc. I don't see that as a problem. However, this guy is assassin so comparisons will be wrong to make. Also, who says he has bad DPS?

Why? When I see a log of a spriest doing better than me, all I feel is a desire to make myself better and figure out what they are doing that I'm not.

i think it`s one of the best chars that i`ve seen applied for us . at least since when i got here, maybe if gringo has any chance to look it up he can say for sure if the gems/echants/reforges are done properly..but i incline to say yes for his app

I undestand wht are you trying to say haz but in some points ur wrong.

Only reason i wouldn't want him in guild is caus he is melle.

For dps reason assa rogue are better then combat in dps.Combat pulls only in fights where there is loads of aoe.
And for wol it's like suker compers his dps as dics to shadow.All spec are diffrent and have they benefits and things they are missing.
Grigno is really good combat rogue, but thing is atm u don't have loads of comabt rogues that raid.

In this siutations think we should just test him to see.But he is 19(thou that rule was ignored sometimes).

So i think only question is do we want 2 melle or rather take 1 more range?

Seems nice app, decent gear, gems & reforges are all fine.

Also, assass spec which is capable of being much stonger on most fights compared to combat, apart from maybe Spoils and probably heavy cleave fights he should be more than fine, for anyone worrying about assassin spec, as its single target easily makes up for the lack of a cleave.

Please dont plan for me in 3months time, plan for now.

My only concerns are his age and the fact that he is progressing more on his DK, is this a case of "oh, I want to play DK now" once his 1 character is geared?... but no harm in trying

Ofc this is always a concern, why get a melee when you can get another mage/lock/.... to do the job easier, but thats your call

edit: I'd also consider getting another ranged also anyhow (though not sure what the situation with Noobs is), but with 1 or 2 undergeared still in the raid DPS is definately an issue when a few of the geared players are signed out, as last night was.
And with Toothy only doing 1.5 nights a week at most at the moment, you will have issues

Lookin at his stats on bosses for MoP, he doesnt seem to have done much in the way of progression in MoP until maybe ToT

Until then he was kinda doing LFR and the odd boss on normal on his DK or his rogue, with the odd HC kill thrown in there I guess done at a later date as an achievement run kinda thing. Some of the HCs and kills he says he has done he hasnt on his Rogue or DK, so i guess he swapped around a lot on other character.

Would be an idea to keep an eye on how stable he is on each character, though he did seem to progress on the Rogue for ToT

AFAIK nothing was agreed just yet. I'm going to nudge the hunter that I spoke with yesterday and see if he's still interested. If not, I say we get this rogue.
