I just spoke to char named "Harder" an inc tank applicant. Played for 6 years, 172 days played on prot warr. He seems like a nice guy in chat, norwegian bloke aged 30. He is dyslectic and wondered if he could get an interview instead of writing an application, but I asked him to write it as good an he can manage, and that the quailty of his typing should not affect his chances.

Guildmaster 441 Posts | That is true, impressive. We spoke loosely about it, but I was sure it was another Leyo jadajada, might be a better option with Leyo as Prot/holy. If Leyo is focused on raiding with us then I say go for it and put Harder on ice! Talk to Leyo please! |

Social 777 Posts | yup, this seems to be the case, but I gotta say he has pushed massively to level/gear his tank... dinged 85 on Friday then since then he has basically run every HC, got exhalted with the guys for the head or shoulder enchant and seems to have gemed/geared his gear He said to me lastnight that he has "pushed to gear as fast as possible as its something he really wants to do"... ofc the issue of 'will he be stable' still stands, but I gotta say he seems keen. Would 4 tanks be too many? ofc this adds pressure to the amount of melee we take to raids (though Leyo's O/S is healing - but doesnt have much gear for it yet) El !@#$%^ |

Social 236 Posts | Four tanks would hold progression back yes imo meaning some sort of rotaion there, wich has its ups and downs. Indeed we have to give some creed to Leyo for pushing as hard as he have done here. I guess only time will tell if he stays or go playing an alt or something. maybe mork would enjoy arms or fury as mainspecc? althou we know his tanking is super, and we dont know how Harders are in anyway... |

Social 126 Posts | I wouldn't mind swapping if it's beneficial for the guild. Can't guarantee that I can keep up with Gringo in dps though :P Though I'm a little reluctant on spending gold on 359 gear, as I've just recently spent 15-20k getting the tankgear ;) |

What did the twins say Doc were they interested in joining some raids? maybe even get a solid spot atleast as healers :) |

Social 777 Posts | I agree, we are in much bigger need of a healer or 2 ...but am hesitant in saying no to this tank tbh as we have had too many problems with tanks and unless I can see atleast a few weeks of raids go by without any tank issues at all and without having to rely on socials to step in to help then I wouldnt like to turn this tank down. 1 option I guess is to tell him we have a new tank on trial and wouldnt want to waste his time keeping him hanging on to find the tank we have taken is working out fine, but tell him we were very pleased with his app and would like to keep him on record should a spot open, etc etc... As for discussing about the twins, I think thats something we should discuss on another thread maybe, as nice as they are I aint convinced that having 3 priests in a 10man raid is a great idea.
