So dude, I did a bit of search..

I was thinking just to go with the first "set up" where u dont touch the Core Voltage. Set Power Limit to 110%, Core clock 150 and Memory lock to 500 (might just put on 350 just in case) as u can see there, and just leave the fun on Automatic.

just so u know, this is the 1 I have, unfortunately I did not know then that G1 is capable of base 120+ MHz more.

So what do u say ?

I'd say don't touch the memory for now, only the core and don't go +150 in one go. Every card is different, go with +50 or 100 on the core and test with games if you see any crashes or artifacts. Take your time etc and slowly increase in say 25mhz bumps untill you have problems, then decrease till there are none and then decrease a little bit more. So for example you can run +180 but it artifacts at 185 then go back down to like 170 to ensure stability on high loads.

The cooler on your card should be more then capable of running overclocked without getting nowhere near thermal throttling, which is 80C. There is also power limit throttling which you can avoid by increasing the power limit but that might cause the card to go into thermal throttling because it's boosting to high frequencies and thus reach its max safe limit and slowing down. But i don't think you will reach the power limit before you run into stability problems, i'd say max out the power limit slider, leave vcore alone it's just not needed with these cards and do as i described above.

About fan speed leave that on auto you want stability without going nuts over fan noise, just make sure your case has enough ventilation. You want to create positive pressure in your case, which means more going in then going out. If you do it the other way around your case will become a dust magnet. So if you have 2 intakes in the front and 1 exhaust in the back you should be good, always have more going in then out. This is important since your card's cooler dumps all the heat inside your case.

I`m going to try and test what u said. Im going to try it with this Heaven, and Valley, and will try what I can find out.

The only difference between this and mine that is on mine the side fan is on the top, not at the bottom.

I'm wondering tho does a card as powerfull as yours really need OC for current games? :> Dont get me wrong I toy around with that stuff myself, but that thing will pull any game easily without OC, unless ur just doin it for fun ofc ^^

Well I dont need atm, but as u may now Wither 3 is coming and I want to see how much my GPU is capable of. I have been doing a little research recently about these sort of things that I did not know until now and I got curios. It`s more like a self teaching kind a thing, I know nothing about Computing apart from start the game and play. So yeah it does quiet interest me. :)



Also for Scummy, How can I "increase " in BIOS my Ram "idk, maybe performance " Now its only at 1600MHz but the ram I have is 2400MHz. Can I "pull up" to 1833MHz, Does it make any difference ?

Just set your ram to XMP, consult your motherboards manual on how to do that.

That card prolly wont need it for wither 3 either, but if its out of interest just do it ^^ its fun. as far as ur memory goes, think I can answer that one.
Its prolly your xmp that is on disabled. This guy explains it pretty well:

it's defaulted to off incase the motherboard happens to not support such settings in the first place. for example not all motherboards support my 1.25v ram, it defaults to 1.35v until I force 1.25v or enable the XMP profile.

the XMP profile is basically a config file stored on the ram, it tells the motherboard exactly what your ram needs to be set at to perform to the specs it was made for.

this includes speed, voltage, and timings. otherwise you'd have to set voltage, timings and speeds all yourself in the BIOS to get the ram to run at those speeds.

sidenote: not sure if you'll see much performance improvement though with ram faster than 1600Mhz because of the Memory Controller

And euhm nope performance wise I dont think it will make much difference. Depends on the rest of your hardware tho.

For example, if your processor cant process anything faster then 1600 mhz its going to make next to no difference at all.

1600 is basically regular speed. And most benchmarks show that OCing your ram will make trivial performance improvements. Always fun to try and get everything to run maxed out tho :>

Okey, so how do I do that :D ?

Go to bios, mostly under advanced options. And set your XMP profile to enabled. Should do the trick.

I will do in a min. Thou so far, I ve been testing GPU with Unigine Heaven, on 1080p Ultra 8xAA and Extreme Tessellation yeah ?

so first I run in basic setting just to see what im dealing wit, where im starting from.

Default What I`m at atm is
Clock 1114 MHz 1264 MHz
Memory 1753 MHz 1840 MHz
Boost 1253 MHz 1403 MHz

That means I went up from 55.2 fps to 60.5fps.

I got at first 1390 then 1524 Benchmark score.

Only put +20 on Core Voltage, why not, i dont think tbh its needed.
Power Limit is up to +110
Core Clock is at +150
Memory Clock is at +175
Fan Speed is automatic ( did not go higher then 60-70 % )
After testing with Heaven the GPU`s temperature did not go higher then 65 degrees.

Why are you ignoring my advice? If you change too many things at the same time and you run into problems it's much harder to track down the problem. Raising the vcore will probably hurt your oc more then increase it, don't mess with it. Also you're running with vsync on so you don't get more then 60fps.

Did you check your case cooling etc?

First I did check the case.
Secund I did not ignore your advice, i did run like 8 tests while increasing 1 thing at a time little by little (25 increased per tests.) I dis not get any crash or overheating. I eved tested that shit which u can test your GPU temp and did not go hogher then 66degrees after 15mins.
