Someone mentioned that the forum looked bad in IE8 and IE7 so I've made a few tweaks to the CSS to improve it. Hope it works, let me know!

Not really, there were basically 2 problems. Firstly, IE7 and IE8 don't understand alpha channels. Secondly, the title image doesn't respect the height for some reason, probably because it exists inside a HEADER tag which is only valid in HTML5.

It's a horrible bodge but I basically added this:

.header {
background-color: #161616;
background-color: rgba(30, 30, 30, 0.75)
}

.content, .footer {
background-color: #262626;
background-color: rgba(38, 38, 38, 0.8 );
}

h1
height: 220px;
}

Are you using 7 or 8 by the way?

IE 11 (Windows 8.1) and Safari (OSx Maverick) at home...
IE 8 at work...

Just chrome and chromium at home !

Windows 7
Windows XP
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2012

I refuse to use a Mac.... urgh!

At home I stick with Chrome on Windows 8.1
