Rules for raiding. Before, during and after.


Before raid:

• Make sure you have the addons we require before you join the raid(DBM/BigWigs or similar addon, Epgp Lootmaster and Weakauras2 or similar.
• Raid invites start around 19.30 server time.
• Early EP will be given at 19.35 if you are inside the raid and on Teamspeak by then.
• Sign ins should be done well before raids.
• Sign outs should be done well before time and with a post here.
• Late sign outs need to be announced if something unexpected happens there is a shoutbox on the forums.
• Make sure you have checked tactics before raid and are prepared to progress at any raid. Never expect it to only be a farm night.
• Bring your own food(125). Feasts will be put down by an officer if it’s time to use that. So no more random feasts out. [*]Putting down a feast means you will agree to buy a stack of food buff from Gbank.
• Flasks and potionss should be brought for the whole raid.

During raids:

• We are all here to have fun.
• Respect each other. There is no need to call anyone else names it is better to discuss the problems than to attack each other we.
• Keep the talk on Teamspeak mature and listen to officers in raid.
• Don’t interrupt people who are talking and let others talk to. Do not take the whole show on there as there is 19 others who might have something to say but does not get the chance.
• Buff up your own buff. If you get a notification that a buff is missing buff its(buffs over auras).
• Time between bosses are not time to go afk regularly and get back to boss as quick as possible try. Do your stuff before the raid or during the break.
• If you are put on standby you are expected to be close to the raid and have an easy way to get back in. You also need to be easily accessible either through ts or real id if you are going away during this time notify any officer in the raid.

After raids

• Raid ends around 22.30. Don’t leave until raid leader said the raid is over.
• Respect each other if people can’t continue past raid time. We are all from different places and got different schedules.
• Prepare for the next raid with checking tactics getting flasks, potions and food.

If I missed anything or its something that you might not like please give some critic.

As for the addons, mayby we should start a required addons topic and list addons there? like GTFO etc.

As for the food it seems abit hard, could be more like each rider is required to bring 125 and its used on progress or harder bosses. The penalty if there is no food.

Add a rule about pre-potting and combat potting?

Should we add something about being prepared for boss fights and knowing it for your class/role?

Reasoning behind the food is that some people still insist on using feasts just cause they dont feel like it. so I think if we dont put it down its not allowed to use it also need to agree to a punishment if so, maybe they are forced to buy food even tho they might have?

You have not mentioned Whatsapp anywhere in this topic.. Where I found two places, I felt it was missing from.

*Somewhere in this text, we should include that we always have Officers you can contact. By Text or Conversation for late announcement.
Or simply: We also have everyone in guild, in the Solitude group chat, which can also be used to add a small and fast message, saying that you might be coming later than intended.

*Add: Don't go to far away from either your Computer or Phone. That way, if we need to replace someone, we must be able to contact you through Teamspeak or WhatsApp (Call or personal message).

If noone got anything to add then maybe put this one up tomorrow or thursday so people have time to read before the following raid?

I'm not sure how this topic will be implemented. I feel that we should only emphasize the important things only and leave the small things out that can be taken for granted.

Among all of the things you mentioned, only few were I think important to mention/announce. The rest is already integrated and is more or less a repeat of things that should be known.

You could for example go for this to only emphasize the important points: You start off with:

We, officers, have noticed that some players are forgetting certain key topics that should not be forgotten. We want to give everyone a peaceful reminder that neglecting these points will result in us having to take countermeasures to ensure a good raid.

Important Rules

1. If you do not have the required addons (Lootmaster and AngryAssignments); you will be lootbanned until you acquire both of these addons.
2. The first two attempts of a farm boss can be done with 100 stat food. Starting the 3rd try onward, we expect everyone to use 125 food.
3. If you do not use 125 food when required or you simply ran out. You will have to buy a stack of food from the guildbank for 150 GP or someone else can send you by letter (as long as we do not have to wait for your ass to get ready).
4. Officers have the leadership in the guild. Do not start a discussion against an officer during raid time on Teamspeak. You are free however to whisper him.
5. If you are set as stand-by you should be able to reach the computer within 5min. If you are leaving for a short period of time during your stand-by period, you should notify the officers. If you cannot make it to the raid within 5min when we need you, then you will lose all of your accumulated stand-by EP. This timer starts directly from the moment we attempt to contact you.
