On 14th July 2006 I got a "10-day Guest Pass" to play a game called World of Warcraft and a little over 9 years later it's time for me to say goodbye.

When I started I didn't think I'd be playing it even 3 months later, let alone all these years. I've met some amazing people along the way, and many of those will be my friends for a lot longer still. That alone is the sole reason that I've managed to stick around for so long.

But as they say, all good things must come to an end and so it must be...

There are too many people for me to thank here, but I would like to give my appreciation to all of you who have helped out, all of you who have killed countless raid bosses but mostly, all of you who made me smile. It's been a roller-coaster ride.

My subscription ends in about a month so you may see me logging in now and then, but on 19th October it's all over. I would say that it's 95% likely that I won't buy Legion, but to all of you who stay - I wish you luck, prosperity and enjoyment.

I am too sad to see you go Hog. It all feels quite depressing to be honest, what happened to the guild. But who knows, maybe we'll cross paths in wow sometime in the future :)

y, me 2/ But i am still tempted to play in Legion so i'll keep the stuff for now.

Although i quitted the army this summer and have a new job now and i am very busy. Hope it gets a bit more quiet when Legion is gonna drop.

Really sad to see you leave wow, as it was always possible to just log in and "meet up" for a chat. Now I probably have to send you an sms, email or look you up on facebook to find out how you are. I have been so busy in real life lately (renovating an old house I have bought and I have a newborn son) that I have just logged in for the odd leveling, garrison shit or just randomly flying across the map listening to the in game music being nostalgic .... basically I have not played wow properly since cataclysm. ... still I really miss all the good old times, we have been through a lot!!

I wanted to thank you for all the years we have spent together here in the game, been an honor to get to know you, raid and lead guilds with you (Icon on Wildhammer, Icon on Kazzak. Alliance PvE, Horde PvP). I consider you a real friend even tho we have never met in RL and we'll keep in touch for sure!
